Funeral Service for Nathaniel Vincent “Nat” Bain age 63, of East Bay Street will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Boyd Road. Officiating will be Monsignor Alfred Culmer assisted by Deacon Peter Jones. Interment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery.
He is survived by his children: Gwendolyn Griffin Williams, Nathaniel Jr. and Kosey Griffin; Grandchildren: Natalia, Nathan and Nathaniel Bain III, Ashlyn Sands, Marlon and Noah Williams; Sisters: Linda Brown Storr, Sylvia Phidd of Fort Lauderdale, Eleanor and Shirley Bain. Brothers: Gerald and Raymond Colebrook, George Brown Jr., Dr. Samuel and Willis “Kool-Aid” Bain, BEM; Nieces: Carla Colebrook, Tamika Brice, Kendra Storr, Tammarrell, T’Shura, Che’Vaughn and Taria Bain; Nephews: Todd and Craig Whylly, Samuel Jr., Tamiko of North Carolina, Tereco, Tarall and Rashad Bain, Gerald Jr. and Gordon Colebrook, Terez Brice, Tanaz Deveaux and Niyoki Lewis; Aunts and uncles: Mrs. Merrill Thompson, Hasting Jr. and Howard Charlow; Cousins: Angela Rolle, Judy Outten, Stephanie and Gary Bain, Linda Miller, Terry Dames, Nathalie Hall, Carl Fisher, Sandra Olando and Beverly and Ellamae Edwards of Atlanta a host of other relatives friends: Betty Hanna, Ann McKenzie, Brian Gibson, J’lisa Toote, The Potters Cay Dock crew, the communities of Balls Alley and Free Town Lane and many others too numerous to mention.
The body will repose in the Blessed Redeemer Chapel at Ferguson’s Funeral Directors, 7th Terrace Collins Avenue, on Friday from 10:00 am - 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
