A Memorial Service for Thelma Belle Johansson, age 89 years of Retirement Road, will be held on Sunday September 22, 2019 at 4:00p.m. at the Salvation Army, Thirty-one Mackey Street, Nassau, The Bahamas. Officiating will be Majors Joan and Miller Cantave.
A private viewing, and blessing of Mom’s body by Major Miller Cantave was held. Thelma Johansson was interred on June 19, 2019.Thank you to Major Cantave and Butlers’ Funeral Home.
She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her: Children: Valerie Hollings, Dagny Drudge and Lennart Johansson; Sons-in-law: John Hollings and Peter Drudge; Grandchildren: Jeffrey (Trisha) Hollings, Jeremy Hollings and Celia Rogers; Great grandchildren: Rachel Hollings, Michael Hollings, Jacob Hollings and Logan Rees; Sister: Peggy Roberts of Green Turtle Cay, Abaco; Sister-in-law: Jean Collins of California; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; Longtime friends: Rosie Saunders, Patria Higgs, Cynthia Wallace, Nancy Harbour and numerous friends from the Salvation Army Nassau Citadel Church and Home League.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Thelma Johansson to the Salvation Army Nassau Citadel Corps on Mackey Street.
