A memorial service for
Gordon Thomas Knowles, 67
of Patton Street, Palmdale, will be held on Saturday, February, 15, 2020 at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street at 3:00 p.m.
Officiating will be Rev. Milton Lightbourne, Dr. Reginald W. Eldon and Rev. Godfrey Bethell.
Interment of remains will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau, N.P., The Bahamas.
Gordon died peacefully at Pat's Senior Citizens' Home, Soldier Road, Nassau on Monday December 16, 2019.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Vernice Knowles; sister, Sandra Knowles-Cason and close friend, Frank McCracken.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Michael Cason; nephews David (Kelly) Cason and Andrew Cason; great nieces, Vicky, Melanie, Elizabeth and Rachel Cason; cousins who were his caregivers, Anne (Ian) Lever, Elizabeth Howard, Marsha Cates, Tiffany Cates (goddaughter) and Tamsin Cates; cousins, Clifford Cates, Maitland (Daphne) Cates, John Cates, Penny Cates, Christine (Johnny) Woodman, Robin Knowles, Beverley Roberts, Vidalia Knowles and Adelita Colli; Special friends, Jerome Miller and family, Angela Fox and family, Melissa Sweeting-Percentie and family, Rev. Milton and Dr. Linda Lightbourne, Rev. Godfrey and Deacon Elmena Bethell, Dr. Reginald W. Eldon, JoAnn Cason, Darlene Bethell, John and Florence Sosu, Allison Underwood and other relatives and friends.
