Funeral Services for Joy Maria Ann Dixon-Ferguson, age 72 of Nassau East North, was held on Tuesday January 28st, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Street North. Fr. Glen C. Nixon officiated. Joy’s cremated remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street.
She was pre-deceased by her Parents: Sybil J. Smith,-March and Frank A. Dixon Sr., Siblings: Valdamar Dixon, David Dixon, Dudley Dixon, Robert Hall, Tyrone March, Mycola Dixon-Morrison and Patricia (Pet) Dixon-Robinson.
Left to cherish her memories are: Two Sons: Oswald Harry James Ferguson(Maureen) and Troy Demetrius Ferguson(Maria) of Miami,Fl; One Daughter: Miesha Mathilda Ferguson(Dr. Don Major); Seven Grandchildren: Shakira, Jamie-Lee, Travis, Dianna-Ki Benjamin of Plain Field, Indiana, and Demetrius Ferguson of Port St Lucie, Florida, Alicia, Meadow, and Madison Major; Nine Sisters: Petrona Lewis of Grand Bahama, Shirley Dixon, Andrea Dixon of New York Brenda Marina Dixon-Price of Queens, New York, Lonnie Emmeline Dixon-Rolle(Cedric) of Eleuthera Island Shores, Eleuthera, Junnette Priscilla March-Radjpaul(Norval) of Queens, New York, Catherine Joyce March-Wright(Willie) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Lorraine Bethell and Linda March; Four Brothers: Frank A Dixon Jr(Elomie) of New York, Gerard Dixon of New York ,Whitley Dixon(Ruth) and Maestro Dixon of Grand Bahama; Numerous Nieces and Nephews including: Tamika P Symonette, Angelique Butler, Sophia Higgs, Crystal Bethel; Yvette, Burnetta, and Lucille Morrison and Maria Sullivan, Vonique, Vichelle, Vashti and Valdasa Dixon and Monique McKenzie, Mycola Quant, Rose Dixon, Rev.
