I hope the news I hear is far from the truth regarding the unbelievable amount of water required each day by this development. If true, we now know the reason why many higher areas of the island are experiencing an extremely short supply of water. An area consisting of a number of very expensive villas have had no water at all today, Fri. 23rd July and very, very little over recent weeks. This critical situation must be solved immediately for the indigenous population and also for our winter residents and renters if we are to continue being one of the main supporters of our tourist industry.
