Munroe: Defence Force officers who quit without permission risk jail
NATIONAL Security Minister Wayne Munroe revealed that Royal Bahamas Defence Force officers must receive permission to resign as he said officers “will probably be imprisoned for that offence” if they fail to do so.

NATIONAL Security Minister Wayne Munroe said there was a police-involved shooting in Turks and Caicos which has left one Bahamian man dead, noting the incident involved members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force who were assisting the island.
