EDITOR, The Tribune. THE new road projects and old road resurfacing is going ahead at a terrific pace and I am sure when it is all finished we will congratulate the Government for a job well done. The improvements are already self evident although infuriating when roads are closed that were open yesterday. However, the point of this letter is to ask what happened to the "White Line" department. For example, the road from the Old Fort roundabout to Lyford Cay was repaved some time ago, but there are no white lines either in the centre of the road or on the verges which makes it very dangerous at night. Bay Street was repaved a short while ago but no pedestrian crossings or parking bays have been painted. Has the "White Line" department been disbanded, gone to sleep or run out of paint?
