TWO men and a woman were detained in Freeport yesterday morning after officers discovered an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The men, 33 and 38 years old, and the 38-year-old woman, are currently helping police with their investigation.
Police discovered the handgun and bullets after responding to reports of a disturbance in the South Bahamia area.
Freeport police are also investigating a shooting.
On Tuesday, officers were notified that someone had been shot in the Fawcett Lane area. The victim, a 31 year old Freeport resident, was hit in upper body.
No update on his condition was released.
