FREEPORT- Bendricko "Buju" Bain was convicted of murder in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Bain, 20, a resident of Eight Mile Rock, was found guilty of the 2009 shooting death of 25-year-old McClean's Town resident Kevin Alexander Carey.
Carey was discovered shot to death in a vehicle discovered in a service road in Pioneer's Way, in the Coral Reef Estates area, on the morning of October 8, 2009.
Senior Justice Hartman Longley presided over the trial.
Attorney Brian Hanna represented Bain, who will return to court in Freeport for sentencing on August 3.
