RoyalStar Assurance opens new office

ROYALSTAR Assurance celebrated the grand opening of their new office on JFK Drive under the patronage of Prime Minister Perry Christie.

In addition to the Prime Minister’s address, congratulatory remarks were made by Michele Fields, superintendent of the Insurance Commission of the Bahamas, and Franklyn Wilson, chairman of RSA’s board of directors.

The facility will serve as RSA’s headquarters for conducting business through their authorised agents and brokers throughout the Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos.

Mr Wilson said: “In building Royal Star Assurance to last, directors have always seen value in the company earning and maintaining independent third party validation of being top tier. Thus the directors and managers are delighted that Royal Star Assurance is not only rated by AM Best as being A- Excellent but is also deemed to have a ‘positive’ outlook. No other insurer in the Bahamas has a higher rating.”

RSA’s grand opening ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting by their longest-serving staff member, Shelley Moree, followed by the unveiling of a dedication plaque by the Prime Minister.

RSA’s managing director, Anton Saunders, along with RSA executives then led the Prime Minister and invited dignitaries on a tour of the building.

Our PM kissing Snake's butt rather than Freddie's butt......this just doesn't seem to be too refreshing a change!

Perry Christie should be banned from all PR appearances until he has hard numbers showing crime reduced, national debt under control, jobless rate going down, national grade average going up. I cannot believe that this crew given a 2nd chance is doing the same foolishness they did the first time around. I actually wished them the best on the announcement of election results...fool me twice. It's about time those "Thank You" yellow and blue signs all over the island were taken down and replaced with "Get to Work".
