BUILDING YOUR LIFE: WHAT IS YOUR BLUEPRINT?

By MICHELLE MILLER

Everything that manifests starts with a blueprint of sorts.

Whether it is an airplane, vehicle, a business or even the various weather conditions, everything that comes into reality, embodies specific ingredients that make it what it is.

When it comes to your life, what are those ingredients and are they producing the kind of results you are seeking for your life?

There are millions of people living their lives on second, third and even fourth hand information.

This unverified information in often fear-based and long been replaced by some new discovery. Alas, they are without the new edition.

The habit of relying on uninvestigated information may seem like a small thing, however, in this information age, there is no reason why you cannot find out for yourself.

When you outsource your information intake to whomsoever may, you essentially outsource your power to ‘know’.

We all act on information.

Who you are today is based on the information you possess. This habit of outsourcing your power is a surefire way to live life on a treadmill. Never going any further and not experiencing any real improvement.
Your life need not be so. You are created in the image and after the blueprint of the Master Creator. This alone gives you the unlimited power to build your life according to your authentic blueprint. While this is true, if refuse to seek out a new understanding, you will have access to this amazing power.
Often time when I speak to people about tapping into their own source of power, understanding who they really are and that they were born to win at this game of life; many look at me with eyes of disbelief. It is almost as if they are saying ‘yeah right’. This doubtful disposition is commonplace. Many of you may feel that same way. It is not easy to suddenly believe in an invisible power, if you have been led most of your life to believe that you are powerless.
What I like about beliefs is that although they are can be emotionally incarcerating, they can also be changed. If believing in a blueprint that suggests you are powerless, is no longer true for you. Then you owe it to yourself to change it to one that that inspires your new understanding.
The point is you must find the willpower to deconstruct the old blueprint and reconstruct your life to a blueprint that enables you to lift your life upward.
To be clear, a blueprint is a reproduction of a technical drawing that specifies the engineering design of what is to be constructed.

The key to getting the right blueprint is to know what it is that you want. If you do not know what you want to build, the architect will have a difficult time drawing it for you. Knowing, as G.I.Joe said, is half the battle.
The same is true for your life. You must know what kind of life it is that you are seeking to build. Unlike some old building that any architect could devise a blueprint for, when it comes to your life you are the architect as well as the construction company. You have the task to sift out enriching ingredients for your blueprint and find the right foundation on which to build your life.
But, perhaps you may feel this task is too much work and so you may opt to borrow someone else’s blueprint. While copying their blueprint may seem like a good idea, bear in mind their blueprint may not serve your life purpose.
It is also a sad reflection on your value of your self-worth. Your willingness to unearth your own potential honours your self-value. Find the courage to do the work. Hold yourself accountable and take responsibility for building a life of purpose.
Here are a few steps to build your blueprint

Clarify what you want & why you want it; Create a clear plan of action; Determine where you are now; Upgrade your skills to fill the gap
There is a great line in a song that says, ‘No one can feel the rain on your skin or speak to words on your lips.’ It is so true. Your life remains unwritten until you pick the pen to sculpt your life blueprint. Taking the lead in your life is about picking up those old shattered pieces of what went ‘wrong’ and getting on with building your life.
Remember that your life flows according to the blueprint or masterplan that you create. Fail to set a plan for your life – then you plan to fail. You are not born to fail, but without a blueprint, you leave yourself vulnerable to doing just that.
Make today the day that you take the lead in re-evaluating what it is that you really want for your life and create the blueprint that will enable you to make it happen. Now is the perfect time to shift your life paradigm.
