ELECTRICAL failure at the Windsor pumping station was the cause of water supply interruption in western New Providence over the weekend.
According to the Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC), power to the main electrical panel was restored sometime around 6.30pm on Saturday after it failed earlier that afternoon.
WSC said it will continue its water conservation measures in an effort to build storage levels and reduce leakage.
Conservation hours are scheduled between the hours of 11pm and 5am, and residents can expect lower than normal water pressure during this time.
