St John's College prefects pay courtesy call to Bishop Boyd

The 2013-2014 prefect body of St John’s College paid a courtesy call on Laish Boyd, Bishop of the Bahamas and The Turks & Caicos Islands on October 30.

As representatives of their graduating class, the prefects pledged their continued commitment to excellence in academics and deportment, adhering to their school’s theme this year where: “The Challenge, The Dream, The Goal, The Achievement” will be demonstrated with a spirit of accountability.

Bishop Boyd noted his delight by the visit and reassured the students of the Anglican Central Education Authority’s commitment to not only fostering academic excellence but creating holistic individuals equipped for all fields of life.

The students and administrators present received the Bishop’s prayers and blessings and were encouraged to do their absolute best and have an incredible year.
