Reports of a shooting at a local school are untrue, The Tribune can confirm.
Earlier today, a car was broken into at the Meridian School on JFK Drive - prompting incorrect reports on local radio that a shooting had occurred.
Frightened parents rushed to the campus to pick up their children - before being told that no shooting incident had taken place.
