I want to know who’s in charge in the FNM. The very day that party leader Dr Hubert Minnis has a press conference on the Renward Wells matter, Darron Cash issues a press statement, “From the Office of the Chairman”, upstaging his leader.

Has Darron Cash gone rogue? Is Cash now making policy statements without the consent of the party?

Cash has quite often not acted as a team player in the FNM. It has only gotten worse since he became Chairman. Clearly Dr Minnis has little control over the Chairman.

In his press statement, Mr Cash suggested that even more questions be added in the upcoming referendum on a set of different issues, potentially making the referendum an even more complicated affair than it already is.

Dr Minnis and Cash were always strange political bedfellows. With Cash seemingly doing whatever he pleases, things are only getting stranger.
