TWO men who suffered multiple gunshot wounds in separate shooting incidents are listed in critical condition at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

The latest incident occurred on Saturday around 6.30pm in Fox Hill when a 20-year-old man was injured.

Police received a report that a man had been shot at Dorsett Street and upon arrival at the scene, found him suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital via EMS personnel and was listed in critical condition.

Head of the Central Detective Unit, Superintended Paul Rolle told The Tribune yesterday that police “are following significant leads” into the shooting which occurred the day after a 22-year-old man was gun downed close to Dandelion Primary School.

On Friday around 10.30am, the man was standing outside his home in Yellow Elder Gardens when he was fired upon by the occupants of a small white Nissan car.

Supt Rolle said the victim was rushed into surgery at the Princess Margaret Hospital after he received gunshot wounds to the head and chest area. He had been taken to hospital in a private vehicle from his home.

The victim of Friday’s shooting, identified as Ryan King of Nichols Court, is still fighting for his life in hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Supt Rolle said one of three suspects was arrested in connection with this incident.

Police are appealing to anyone with any information regarding these incidents, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328- TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands).
