EDITOR, The Tribune.

I am quite annoyed that the signage at the Nassau Public Library downtown has been missing going on six months now.

The sign only bears the frame with no sign inside. This is visible at the south side of the library.

Come on Ms Scavella and Ms Murphy; let’s get on the ball.

You are the eyes and ears of the library, please let the powers that be know.

I have witnessed the frown on the tourists’ faces, in those horse driven carriages that try to take pictures in spite of the eyesore.

The Public Library is one of our historic landmarks and should be treated as such. I would like some improvement in this regard.

A word to the wise will suffice.
