OPPOSITION Leader Dr Hubert A Minnis led a team of Free National Movement party officers and supporters in a walkabout in the Fort Charlotte Constituency over the weekend.
The event started at CI Gibson Park at 3pm Dr Minnis and his team walked the streets of the Fort Charlotte Constituency, including Boyd Road, Providence Avenue and portions of Nassau Street and the surrounding streets.
The message of “restoration” resonated as Dr Minnis and his team stopped at homes and business establishments, interacted with the youth and the elderly and engaged in discussion. The walkabout concluded several hours later in a cook-out at the CI Gibson Park.
The Fort Charlotte walkabout is a part of Dr Minnis’ continuing efforts and hands-on approach to visit each constituency and gain first-hand knowledge about issues and concerns that impact the lives of the Bahamian citizenry. The walkabout initiative was launched by Dr Minnis in 2013. The event is held the third Saturday in the month. To date, walkabouts have been held in eight constituencies throughout the island. The next walkabout will be held in the Englerston Constituency in April.

At this time, you are considered a relatively "clean" politician. You may lack the charisma (BS talking) that most Bahamians have come to accept from their politicians. However, you have to sell your credit worthiness to retake this country from this theiving, corrupt oligarchy aka Pindlings Boys.
Mr. Minnis, dont waste your time walking through Bain Town even though you are from there. They are too far gone...... up PLP creek.
Mr. Minnis, start by cleaning up your "weak" image and start surrounding yourself with a coalition of future leaders with clean hands.

Minnis is no saint , he is no better than the people of Bains Town. The Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. and the sooner you people face the reality that all PLP's are not bad people and all FNM's are not good people. you will be entering the realm of common sense. I suppose that is to much to ask.
Again I REPEAT MINNIS IS NO SAINT. HE CAN TELL A LIE WITH THE BEST OF THEM. AND HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT BATTLES TO FIGHT. The best way to win a battle is to know which ones to fight.

Minnis operates in a party that practices democracy, Perry operates in a party that practices cronyism. (glorified dictatorship).............. thats the difference

Do you mean the Party where the former PM Ingraham said "I am a one man band'" and if you all do not vote to sell BTC I Will call the election. " and did not allow Mother Pratt to speak her good byes on the house floor. and you talk about dictators. there are to many to mention here. Those fellows could not even open their mouths.

We are talking about Perry and Minnis................. not Pindling and HAI ............. duh. Hubert Ingraham and the FNM paid the price for his comments.......... the PLP will pay the same in 2017............... but Perry can change that if he goes before 2016...... November Convention
