Aquinas students tour National Insurance complex

LAST month, a group of 29 10th and 11th graders from Aquinas College visited the National Insurance Board’s Clifford Darling complex.

The tour was as a part of the The Island Empowerment Tour arranged by Experiential Education.

During the almost one-hour visit, students had the opportunity to observe the practice of the organisation’s Accounts Departments, and were able to ask questions and solicit advice of the professionals working there. They also got to see other areas of the organisation’s operations.

The Island Empowerment Tour aims to expose high school students pursuing courses of study at the BGCSE level in office practice, economics and accounting, to the structure and function of various business and office settings.
