THE Christ The King Anglican Church February birthday club “The Cupid’s Angels” paid tribute to nine women of distinction during a special luncheon.
The church’s 12 birthday clubs – one for each month – have as their aim and objectives to raise funds that go towards the completion of the Church Parish Hall located in Ridgeland Park West, under the leadership of Canon Cutis Robinson and Father Whitfield Hutcheson, the assistant curate.
The “Women of Distinction” were Shirley Sands, Emeline Lockhart, Dorothy Turner, Linda Rolle, Leah O’Brien, Elise Burrows, Neta Lockhart, Georgina Curtis and Cecelia Cooper.
