FIVE Cuban nationals have been apprehended by Royal Bahamas Defence Force officers patrolling near Anguilla Cay in the Cay Sal Bank area in the southwestern Bahamas.
The Cubans, who were found aboard a makeshift liferaft on Saturday, are being taken by HMBS Durward Knowles to Bimini for further processing by Immigration Department officials on the island.
