Roberts vs Christian Council

EDITOR, The Tribune.

THE comment by PLP chair Roberts as to the relevance of the Christian Council is laughable as if the Christian Council was irrelevant then why do politicians, especially PLP’s hang around churches every weekend and die to get in the churches’ pulpits?

My advice to the Bahamas Christian Council, stop allowing the politicians getting into your pulpits every Sunday and at every funeral.

3,000 churches in Nassau – imagine now the MPs will have to go to their constituencies. Some might have to be told where they are!

Well one thing is for sure PM Christie will be able to rest up and stop trying to kill himself.

Rev Patterson – shut the pulpits from them... show them you have power.

Is The Bahamas ‘Christian’? 15 years ago then Minister of Youth took a survey of the children in schools – 50% said they don’t go to school chances are now that 50% grew to 65+. We might believe in God but I have to suggest we are more secular today than we imagine.

We are only in May and we have already 56 murders!
