I had the following observations during my recent holidays in the SE USA.
No Littering signs on the Florida Highways: Littering Fine $100. Litter everywhere.
No Littering signs on the Georgia Highways: Littering punishable by up to $1,000.00. Some litter.
No Littering signs on the South Carolina Highways: Littering punishable by $1,000.00 fine and possible jail time. Virtually NO litter.
Judging by the insane amount of litter throughout all of The Bahamas, perhaps it is time to review our anti-littering laws and fines.
