After reading this morning’s Tribune, I have decided it is time to leave the rock and start life again somewhere else.

For some time now Ortland, Bodie has been blowing his horn for “Brave” Davis to get up the nerve to elbow Prime Minister Christie to one side and take over as prime minister of this country. Apparently Brave and Bodie have shared unusual “childhood experiences” – according to Bodie they are lodge brothers and sons of “Hiram Abiff” whoever that is — of course confirming my belief that there must be something weird about Bodie. But now that he has sown “Brave” to his side as a lodge brother, it also confirms my doubts about Brave.

But as if that joke isn’t bad enough, lodge brother Bodie turns the whole thing into a nightmare by suggesting that Shane Gibson should be the deputy prime minister. “We are not, out of respect and a firm commitment to King Eric Gibson, going to leave Shane behind,” says Bodie in his letter printed in Monday morning’s Tribune.

And I suppose to complete the triumvirate, we shall find that once this little plot has been hatched Bodie will be sent a “thank-you note” reinstating him to the Bahamas Bar and anointing him as the new Minister of Finance!

Can you imagine Brave, Shane and Bodie!

At this point, I better end this letter before I say what is really on my mind. I now intend to escape this insane asylum, before it is too late and I too go mad.

Bahamians, I suggest you wake up before it is too late.
