DELIGHTED to finally be in The Bahamas, an elated Beres Hammond showed fans much love during a meet-and-greet event on Thursday at the Meliá Nassau Beach Resort as he arrived for a concert on Saturday night.

Winners of a 100 Jamz and KISS 96FM promotion were afforded the opportunity to mix and mingle with the reggae legend who happily answered all of their questions and posed for both group and one-and-one photos with them.

After being prevented from taking the stage two weeks ago because of Hurricane Joaquin, Hammond is set to perform on Saturday night at the National Stadium Courtyard.

The singer said he is delighted to be back in Nassau for this ”special moment”.

“I am family ... I have been away too long and I am happy to be here. I am looking forward to the show on Saturday,” he told the Bahamian press.

“We have all this love thing going on and I don't think it has changed.”

Hammond will be joined in the concert by fellow Jamaican singer Tarrus

Riley and the Bahamians bands The Illest and Tingum Dem.
