These issues must be answered:

WHEN is a lottery obviously a lottery and the officials are blind? Well the only difference to the Florida lottery of Island Luck  to me is that the draw was made in Nassau rather than Tallahassee. This is a bone fide lottery as any other lottery.

If, Minister, it is legal, when did the Lottery Gaming Authority give approval for the game then?

Speculation is that the South African who was the in-house consultant to the gaming authority resigned and now works for Island Luck  – if this is so one hopes the good gentleman made Bahamas immigration application when he was off the island to comply with the immigration Act?

• When Joe Public has some evidence which suggests that a potential crime had been carried out and you know there is an investigation, I suggest the police should be knocking on your door arresting you for retaining evidence.

The Speaker should not have tabled the first e-mail as the matter had been sent by the Prime Minister to the police to investigate.

Mr Minister: I suggest seriously drive to Police Headquarters and hand-in what further evidence you have from your political garbage bin. So evidence is tabled in parliament - can that be used as police evidence in a court or is off limits?

• Candidates for FNM chairmanship - in the past this was sort of a prestigious position  - not any more it  seems. Goodness you mean there are no others in the FNM that would put their names forward? Says a lot about Bahamians politics!
