A CAR plunged into the sea near John Alfred Dock yesterday evening.
The driver of the white Mercury Saber was able to get out of the car and was retrieved from the water by divers from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
At the time, he was unable to tell officers if there were any other occupants of the car, and divers continued their search of the area.
The driver was assisting police with their investigation.
