BP&L Board seems to have been extra busy - not a single Company, has published so many tenders in a week than they have.
Curious as to the extra 80MW that BP&L want?
Is this the rental generators at Blue Hill, costing us an arm and a leg?
One thing for absolute sure, we do not want to hear of any idea of digging and laying a gas pipe, from Arawak Cay to Blue Hill Road and onto Clifton.
I remember when Tractabel and Suez were proposing LNG pipeline from Grand Bahama to Miami or Florida. The US governing agency for LNG, FERGS, advised a public hearing in Florida that the safety distance required between LNG storage and private residence - schools or commercial buildings had to be two miles.
No pipeline across New Providence, Ms. Osborne - too dangerous.
