Why are we still waiting for this transparency?

EDITOR, The Tribune

If the Governments’ scheme to attract Bahamians who have been professionally successful outside of The Bahamas then internally after they have been recruited whatever - whichever institution or organisation they are assigned to must operate daily - hourly under the disciplined parameters that that person was used to…anything different you will find frustrations - annoyance and eventually the final decision - why did I come home for this mess? Corruption or whispers of are not accepted.

The loss of the BP&L COO is catastrophic not because someone can’t be found to do the job but from all accounts the good lady had exceptionally good business psyche and relations with the established BP&L employee…in a short time mucking in with the line-employees she got respect and support.

If we are to believe the social media certainly the OPM-PM Minnis’s Office has no alternative now after announcing he would investigate BP&L on the RFP 80MW temporary generators to know investigate and make public the findings of a by-partisan Committee within three-weeks to advise in this case of Ms Alston what went wrong and why she found herself so compromised that she had to resign?

Prime Minister you promised transparency - expect it now!
