St Cecilia gift giving

There’s nothing better than seeing a smile on children’s faces and these youngsters in the former St Cecilia’s constituency have plenty of reasons to be happy.

Thanks to Tribune Media Group, Island Capital Group and Bahamas Aviation, Climate and Severe Weather Network they were all given gifts to help celebrate Christmas and New Year.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Cynthia “Mother” Pratt was on hand to help lead the gift-giving to those less fortunate.

Over the last 25 years, thanks to generous benefactors, friends and volunteers The Tribune’s Santa Claus Christmas Committee has provided gifts to 45,971 families bringing a moment of happiness many will have experienced for the first time.
