Health coach Ethan Quant, of Elite Wellness Solutions, has succeeded in his weight loss journey and now wants to share his methods with the Bahamas in an effort to foster a culture of wellness and conquer the obesity epidemic.

Firstly, I want to wish all of you a happy new year. May 2020 be your best year yet, and bring you good health, happiness and prosperity.

I personally love the new year. There is a certain freshness and energy that is unmatched at any other time during the year. Literally you have the entire year ahead of you and that means there are countless possibilities and opportunities.

This is a great time to set new goals, commit to new habits and actively work on being better this year than you were last year, improving on all of the aspects that you may have fallen short in years past.

I know that this time of year has also turned into a bit of a cliché. The “New Year, New You” has gotten a bad rap because many people (personal development and self-help gurus included) feel that it’s all just “BS”. They say that if you are really serious you wouldn’t wait until the new year to start working on a new you. They also say setting New Year’s resolutions is a complete waste of time.

I wholeheartedly disagree with both of these simply because you and you alone determine when you are ready to make the change. So if this is the time of year that you decided is best for you, then let’s get to it.

Now if you are anything like me you have set New Year’s resolutions in the past and probably failed sticking to them. It’s OK, that doesn’t mean you are a failure and that you should give up on setting goals and working towards them. It might just mean that you can try another way to get it done.

This being the first month of the year, I am going to be sharing in depth with you my top strategies to developing a system that will not only keep you on track with your goals all year, but ensure that you smash them. I will be using examples for my personal journey, past and present, so that we can stay on track together.

We will cover:

• Goal-setting and action plan development.

• Progress tracking and monitoring.

• Building your support system.

These three topics are essential to creating the structure that will enable you to be successful. The best part about this is that you can then take these same principles.

And apply them to other areas of your life to ensure that you are truly working on becoming the best version of yourself.

This is an exciting time and I am grateful that I get to share with you so that we all can be in a better place at the end of 2020.

You deserve to be happy and you deserve to get everything you want. So let’s get to it!
