A TEENAGER who is accused of having sex with a minor was yesterday remanded in custody.
Sanchez Delva, 19, appeared before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle Davis after he was accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl on November 5 last year.
During the hearing, Delva was not required to enter a plea and his case was adjourned to April 8 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
In the meantime, Delva was denied bail and remanded to prison.
He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
