EDITOR, The Tribune.
I was sitting with my knitting as ordered so to do by the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs when my attention was drawn to the appointment of new envoys for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I was so struck by the announcement that I dropped a stitch in the scarf I was knitting for the Hon Minister.
Inquiring minds in the persons of taxpayers wish to know several things about these appointments. If they are new, as nobody I spoke with seemed to have heard of them before, why are they necessary? Did personnel at various Embassies and government offices attend to these matters previously? What are the job descriptions of the various envoys and the qualifications for the positions? Were the posts advertised? If so where and when? What are the salaries and emoluments in respect of the various posts?

@birdie, you really need to consider a change in your diet. That steady consumption of political road apples over the years must have seriously affected your gastric system judging by all of the partisan wind that emanates from your upper orifice, but then you have frequently demonstrated over the years of talking S..t that your upper and lower are interchangeable.

Jeanne Thompson says less than most in the political arena but when she does comment then her words are both worth noting and relevant.

I only spoke the TRUTH. it is too bad you can not handle the TRUTH
There is the quote the wise will understand the fool has no need to know.
It is politics Ms Thompson never questioned those appointments. If she did I would. believe she really was really standing up

Birdie, you speak your brand of PLP truth, that has been orchestrated from the days of Pindling and grounded in a Roots propaganda message that has brainwashed the majority of black Bahamians for two generations since the 1960s. Don't brag about your brand of "truth". It's like Nazism
