A PASTOR was granted $3,000 bail yesterday after allegedly attacking a woman with a knife.

Pastor Rajesh Jamaal Coleby, 35, represented by Attorney Lennox Coleby, stood before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans on a charge of assault with a dangerous instrument.

At around 1.45am on July 1 at Farmington Road, Coleby allegedly assaulted Shekera Moncur with a knife. In court the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge. Coleby’s trial in the matter is set to begin on November 9.
