A MAN was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services yesterday accused of causing harm to two men and assaulting one of them with a handgun.
Sily Telisma, 48, with the assistance of an interpreter stood before Magistrate Shaka Serville charged with two counts of causing harm. He also faced a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon against one of the men.
On June 10 in New Providence the accused is alleged to have caused harm to both Austin Ferguson and Rodrigo Wallace. On the same day Telisma is further accused of assaulting Ferguson with a handgun.
While the accused pleaded not guilty to all charges against him, he said that he only had problems with one of the complainants.
With his matter being stood down until June 15 for continuation of his trial and bail hearing, Telisma was returned to the Bahamas Department of Corrections.
