No public interest in Sand Dollar

EDITOR, The Tribune.

This Sand dollar thing - Central Bank says 90% of all bank accounts have a credit balance of $1,000.

Why should anyone with that average even consider going through the process of signing up for any digital anything including Sand Dollar?

90 percent, Editor, only have a credit balance of $1,000. The 10% with better balances rely on credit and debit cards...

Central Bank recently reported that the credit balances on all digital wallets like Sand Dollar and others decreased by a whopping $31 million.

Seems to me the public has judged this issue... bush crack digital wallets, including Sand Dollar unwanted - no public interest!

You are quite right. However, they will likely continue to push it on us. Remember now, our orders come from above. We are but pawns in the game. Even the most powerful in The Bahamas are beholden to the international banking system.

Cash is the only realistic proven system. I will not trust this infantile alternative asi have reliable sources and systems that are available, trustworthy and not kiddy new released ideas whist have no proven factuality, a d digitally will not discover trust in an unproven system.

"Central Bank recently reported that the credit balances on all digital wallets like Sand Dollar and others decreased by a whopping $31 million"

Falsely inflated.

The govt "forced" social services recipients to accept COVID assistance payments via digital wallets. Now that that assistance is done, no more money flowing through digital wallets.

Reminds me of the CEB Company that the govt would roll out as an example of investors wanting to base tech companies in the Bahamas that eventually scaled down to a call center then was hand delivered a contract from the govt ~essentially so they could stay open... GIB Digital(?) or something like that
