A MAN is behind bars after he allegedly shot and killed a man in New Providence last week.
Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley charged Brentiano Sands, 22, with murder.
Sands is accused of causing the death of Ricardo Rolle on November 27.
The accused was told that his matter would be moved to the Supreme Court through a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI). Sands will be sent to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until the higher court grants him bail.
Sands’ VBI is slated for service on April 4, 2024.
