Man charged with assaulting and injuring a woman with a box cutter

A MAN was granted bail after he allegedly injured a woman and threatened her with a box cutter last week.

Magistrate Shaka Serville charged Darron Johnson, 50, with causing harm and assault with a dangerous instrument.

Johnson is accused of threatening Torri Rose with a box cutter in New Providence on November 18.

Johnson is also accused of injuring Ms Rose during an argument on November 24.

After pleading not guilty to the charge, the accused was granted $5,000 bail with one or two sureties.

His trial begins on March 20, 2024.
