A MAN was killed in a traffic accident around 6am yesterday.
Police said a collision occurred between a Nissan Note travelling east and a Chevrolet Trax travelling west along the Meeting Street corridor.
Four adult men, the occupants of the Nissan vehicle, sustained injuries. The 32-year-old male passenger in the rear of the car died of his injuries on the scene. The others were taken to the hospital by ambulance for medical attention.
The lone woman in the Chevrolet also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for assistance.
The Serious Accident Reconstruction team from the traffic division will investigate the incident.
