Funeral Service for Lucille Smith, age 81 of Milton Street and formerly of O’Neills, Long Island who died on November 4th 2012 will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Wulff & Baillou Roads. Officiating will be Fr. Roderick Bain, assisted by Canon Basil Tynes. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Abundant Life Road.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Eugie Raymond & Emily Cherri; 1 brother: Albert T. Smith; 13 nieces: Edline Smith, Mispah Cartwright, Eunice Johnson, Kim Davis, Daren Smith, Zipporah Smith, Linda Williams, Rosemary Knowles, Judith McEwen, Vernice Knowles, Marguerite Bowe, Ingrid Higgs and Hazel Rolle; 10 nephews: Cedric Pratt, James Knowles, Anthony Johnson, Ricardo Johnson, Simeon Smith, Benjamin Smith, Edward Theophilus, Jetro and Joseph Smith; numerous grand nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends including: Andre Cherri, Ada Smith, Claudina Smith, Sharon Smith, Paula Ferguson, “Chubby” Bowe, Mr. & Mrs. Bradshaw, Christopher Rolle, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Smith, Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Brennen, Prenell McEwen, Rev. Shelton Higgs, Andrea Smith, Theophilus Williams, Leonard Williams II, Hattie Moxey, Henry Moxey, Winifred Smith, Sylvia Scrivens, Duke Smith, Cynthia, Obadiah, Philip, Clement Smith, Sonia Rhoden, Mechelle Hanna, Melanie Evans, Saint Barnabas Church family and many others too numerous to mention.
Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Rosetta Street, Palmdale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and again at the Church from 9 a.m. on Saturday until service time.
