Memorial Service for Mr. Larry “Duck” Haveldeth Sawyer, age 61 years, a resident of Harbour Island,; and formerly of Nassau, Bahamas, will be held on Tuesday March 26th, 2019, 4:00 p.m., at Ebenezer Methodist Church,. Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev. Milton Lightbourne assisted by Rev. Denise Sawyer. Cremation was held.
Larry was Predeceased by his parents: Oscar and Patsy Patricia Sawyer.
He is survived by his siblings: Kim, Rev. Denise, Oscar, Ann, Odinga, Timmy, Andrew and Douglas Sawyer, Carlis Lightbourne, Suzanne and Wilfred Oliver; Nieces and nephews: Alex, Myles, Myron, Ashlee, Kamori, Sanjay, Renaldo Sawyer, Shawnta, Anita Lighbourne and Eugeneal Steed; Aunts and Uncles: Rev. Kenris Carey, Connie Munnings, Audrey Levarity, Judy, Earl, Barbara, Steve, Constance Deveaux, Deveral and Ashward Ferguson, Lola, Joseph Saunders, and Henry Sawyer; Close friends: Kingsley, Enid and Joe, Laura and Penny Johnson; and a host of cousins, the community of Harbour Island, the family of the University of Warren Street, and many great friends.
A second service will be held in Harbour Island, on Saturday March 30th, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at Wesley Methodist Church, Harbour Island. Officiating will be Rev. Henry Knowles assisted by Rev. Denise Sawyer.
