PM refuses to explain decision to accept Sands’ resignation
AFTER weeks of being silent concerning the resignation of former health minister Dr Duane Sands, Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis on Thursday refused to explain his decision for accepting Dr Sands’ resignation, only saying he wished the Elizabeth MP “well” in his future endeavours.
Last stages but curfew stays for overnight
Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis announced on Thursday that the country has officially began the transition to stage four of the government’s reopening plan, allowing for restaurants to open under certain guidelines and a further relaxation of restrictions on the national curfew.
PM: Weekend lockdowns will be lifted from June 13th
Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis announced on Thursday that the weekend lockdowns due to COVID-19 will be lifted on June 13th – next weekend. However, the 9pm-5am curfew will continue, Monday to Sunday.
