I had to check the veracity of this news when I first heard it. This is really tragic. Another of those things we may never figure out the 'why' for... this will be hard for the families involved. My prayers go out to all of them. In life we are always just a step away from death yet the sing of death hits us hard each time. My prayer is that all those involved will be strengthened. I know it's hard to understand. In May 1983 I lost 3 cousins in the same family. My cousin lost her husband, their 9 year old daughter and their baby who was 14 months old. It took me over 20 years to write about it but I have learned to deal with it.

I was coming back to Nassau on BA some years ago and met one of his nieces, sitting next to me. At the time, I was afraid to fly. She is much younger than me and she showed me some loving strength and I saw her calmness in Knowing her Lord. I always think about her and how she is strong because she was raised by a great family. Deeply saddened....so few teachers like him who spoke truth without compromise today. People misunderstood and defamed him but he defended God's word and kept preaching on so that many who are lost amidst the distractions of this world including his opponents may be saved and be with Jesus in heaven forever. He ran the race and fought the good fight. Pastor Myles, I will never forget your teachings, the books you wrote about vision, potential, our purpose here on earth, God's kingdom and redeeming time, and the lively sermons you preached which I watched on YouTube. There is a time for everything and your timing is way off! I have not had the opportunity to hear his message, obviously Dr Munroe has impacted many brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, whom are now grieving for such a loss. How insensitive! It is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in his eyes. I am comforted by the fact that a couple of months ago Dr. Munroe had passed on the mantle from himself and Dr. Pinder to two younger pastors.He ordained them as Pastors of BFM. He impacted a group of us from the ghetto and we all became leaders in our sphere of influence. Dr. Pinder was a humble servant and a steady hand.Condolence go out to all the families.

GodFearer I would suggest you check your own foundation, the word of God is the fullness that reveals the character and nature of our Heavenly Father and He is Love. 1Cor 13...love is patient, love is kind...those words alone should convict your heart to know that any time you are tearing down a person you are not in line with the Fathers heart. Love never tears down but always builds up. Dr Myles has done so much more to build people up than your criticism has ever done or will ever do. I meet Him years ago in Omaha at my friend's church (Ambassador Worship Center). I have his quote on the wall behind my desk in my home office. We don't know how or when our time will come, but his ministry has been a blessing to many. In John 17, Jesus prayed and declared that He had done all that the Father had sent Him to do and was now ready to come home. That's the prayer that we all should be able to pray!

A friend and I just agreed with each other that Dr. Myles Munroe operated in a different dimension. What he preached he practiced. He emptied himself before leaving earth. I believe his work on earth was finished. He gave us all that the Lord deposited in him for His people. I had the privilege of traveling to Jerusalem in August 2000 under his leadership as President of the International Third World Leaders Association. For me, his exit from earth could not be different. Just how he impacted the world his leaving had to be this way to stun the whole world and to get our attention that a great leader walked this earth as a true citizen of the Kingdom of God. I am pleased to know that the Leadership Summit in the Bahamas is continuing as planned. I believe too, what's left behind are the mortal remains of their bodies and that immediately they died, their spirits were transposed into the heavenly realm.

The departure of the man of God Myles Munroe and his wife to meet our LORD JESUS CHRIST is really painful to the family and to the body of CHRIST at large.But, Brethren, no room for discouragement, for we do know that Myles Munroe as an apostle like Paul, fought a good fight of faith and has finished his cause and is gone to rest with the LORD.

One day we shall all be with the LORD either through rapture or through call to glory. Let us confort one another with this hope. The body of Christ will only get stronger and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.

I hope he was right with Jesus when he died. Peter, Paul, James and the rest of the Apostles did not preach on "The Power of Ideas", or "Management Principles" or "Ten Keys to Success". That is not the gospel. They preached Repent, and believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved. What you say is reasonable, but may I share with you that God gives to each man a unique assignment in life depending on His plan. So correct me if im wrong, but Dr Munroe's focus was on Purpose. With that comes the need to manage/ discipline your life hence the preachings you referred to. You don't reach out to the world through direct confrontation, that's why Jesus used to hang with the misfits. And Mandela was not perfect, but he achieved success we can all learn from.

Most of the Bahamian registered voters lamenting the death of Myles and the others on board his crashed Lear jet will still cast their vote for the devil come the next general election whether the devil be in the form of the leader of the FNM, PLP or DNA. Whether you agree with his preaching or not, the world, especially The Bahamas have lost a visionary, a man of great influence throughout the globe! Like he recently said, we (The Bahamas) is currently in a transitional leadership period. We sometimes question situation and circumstances, why this had to be Dr. Myles? Can we trade him for 50 corrupt Bahamian politicians instead? Like him or not, Dr. Myles will live on for years and years to come. My Condolences to his family and BFM.

R.I.P to most esteemed Pastor and anointed Man of God and his beloved family. He marked his generation and was blessed by the Spirit of Wisdom one fold of the characteristic of the Holy Ghost. Such a great loss to the world of such man of distinction who possessed a seed of greatness that many envied. Thats why some foolish people are telling stupidity on previous posts. It is written "Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm". No. He has no "brand of Christianity". He has challenged the concept of Christianity as "religion" which is man-made with all its rituals and traditions and like all other religions, still seeking to find God and the truth when the truth is already with us. Jesus says I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. As a matter of fact, God's vision is for us to be His ambassador, a kingdom citizen while here on earth, to love thy neighbour so that by our love, we may reciprocate His unconditional love for us and glorify Him as our King. Dr Munroe is a renowned author, an excellent teacher and communicator. He earned his respect and blessings, and wealth is a byproduct of his hardwork. And if it seems like he is commercially motivated, well he knew how to invest in order to reap even more spiritual blessings so that many who are discouraged and lost may find comfort and a sense of purpose through his efforts in writing and speaking effectively. His books are written based on many years of research and much thought, from a Bible teacher's perspective.

I want to open your spirit understanding on some stuff might hurt some, comfort some and make some go through the roof, Dr Myles has reach millions upon millions of persons in this life, Dr Myles has millions in assets and he him self is worth millions, his books brought him millions, his net worth is in the millions, his ministry on Carmichael Road worth millions, the jet he own worth millions, he lives a millionaire life style, the conference he was going to in freeport millionaires would be there because Africa richest oil tycoon would be there and i think Atlanta mare, I search on the internet and millions moan his death, and every where you look on social media and news feed speak of his death, But lets sit back and recap with all the millions i spoke about, this the part whats gonna make the crap crapa hit the fan, Dr Myles Munroe died in the dump, his million dollar plane crash in the dump, no one might say not the dump but ship yard, YA THINK?
