A time for all

By ALLISON MILLER

EASTER is upon us and every believer is grateful for this time. Without this sacrifice none of us would have a right to eternal life.

Easter is a very significant and scared time for every individual who has faith in Jesus Christ. This is a time of gratitude and the way we show our gratefulness is by accepting God's greatest gift to mankind.

We may assume that only Christians have an appreciation for Easter, but, if we give it some thought everyone can appreciate it. We all can share in this token because it expressed God's limitless and unconditional love for man. At this time we (believers) take inventory of what was done and why it was done.

After man sinned and gave Satan access to the earth which caused him to be separated from God. God gave us a way back to himself. He did it because he loves us.

The bibles says that, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life "(St. John3:16).

Jesus Christ is our way back to God. He is the advocate between God and man. Anything we do must be done in Jesus' name. Any request we make it must be made in Jesus' name. He is our access to God the father.

Do you think any of us would make that kind of sacrifice to express our love? The Psalmist questioned, "What is man that thou art mindful of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels and crowned him with glory and honor."

God took the time to give us a way back to himself. Easter is not just a time for Christians but it is a time for all. For those of us who have accepted his gift of love and those who need to accept his gift of love.

We all like receiving gifts and this is the best gift we can give and ever get. So this Easter do not only let it be for Christians but let it be for all of us. God did it for all.
