First Baptist Church celebrates Annual Choir And Youths Day

WITH just two days to go, anticipation is building for the Inspirational Choir of First Baptist Church to take the stage in a spirit-filled and life-changing Annual Choir and Youths Day Service.

This Sunday, at the 9am and 11.15am, services will be held at the church on Market Street and Coconut Grove Avenue. The church is expected to come alive with a display of God-given gifts and talents, as well as powerful ministry from the dance, drama, mime and choir groups.

Under the leadership of the newly elected senior pastor, Rev Diana Francis, the event is one not to be missed, organisers said.

“This is also a time of reflection as we remember the life and legacy of the late Rev Dr Earle Francis who passed away on April 2 of this year after 50 years of exemplary and unselfish pastoral service at First Baptist Church. First Baptist has always been known to be a beacon within the Grove community with a love and passion in spreading the gospel both locally and abroad with a vibrant youth ministry that continues to soar under the leadership of Brother Adrian Finley and the Inspirational Choir director, Psalmist Monique Bethel,” the church said.

Special awards will be given to deserving persons within the various ministries during the event.
Persons within the community and the public at large are invited to share in this experience.

“If you are broken, depressed or just need to be uplifted, you are encouraged to attend as the power and presence of God will be bring healing, deliverance and salvation which is the ultimate goal,” the church said.
