Calvary Deliverance celebrates Pastoral Anniversary

THE leadership, members and partners of Calvary Deliverance Church on East Street South have come to a very special time of the year in which they will celebrate, appreciate, honour and extend their love and thanks to Senior Pastor James Newry and Queenie Newry during the church’s second annual Pastoral Appreciation Service.

Pastor Newry, the church representatives said, is an arduous, visionary leader who is diligently committed to service and the work of the Lord.

The services, which will be held under the theme “Called to Make a Difference”, are inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, “Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.”

On Friday, December 5, at 7pm,the feature speaker will be Pastor Ronald Bastian, senior pastor of Everlasting Life Baptist Ministries. Two services will be held on Sunday, December 7.

The 8am designated speaker is Pastor Mark Barrett, and the 10.30am guest speaker is Apostle Raymond Wells, senior pastor of Living Waters Kingdom Ministries.

These services, the Calvary Deliverance said, will be spiritually uplifting and will feature the church’s praise and worship team, as well as the CDC Fine Arts Ministry, God’s Anointed and many others.
