YOUNG Christian author and motivational speaker Felicia “The Firestarter” Archer has a long list of positive movements she is currently involved in.

This month, she is celebrating the third anniversary of her Fresh Fire Outreach Ministries International under the theme “God Did It.”

And just yesterday she published a new book, and she is also preparing for the launch of her “Jesus Girl Rock” clothing line very soon.

Felicia said it was a life and death experience that led her to fully surrender her life to the Lord. She turned everything that was negative in her life into something positive and became inspired to start the Fresh Fire Outreach Ministries International.

“Fresh Fire Outreach Ministries International was birthed out of my spirit during a period of affliction in my life where at the age of 16 going on 17 years old the doctors had diagnosed me with mass polyps growing on my rectum and colon that made it difficult to have a regular bowel movement,” she said.

Felicia said it was during that time when the Lord began to speak to her and asked the question, ‘Would you still say yes?’

“I told the Lord that I will say yes no matter what. He then begin to give me the vision for this ministry and we held our first event, which was a concert in aid of medical funding for myself. A few months later I had no surgery done but just a minor procedure and the radiologist was in awe to see that every trace of the polyps was cleared up, I am now 100 per cent healed,” said Felicia.

The entrepreneur said the Lord commissions her ministry every year to host a national Youth Revival, and since the first one in 2011 the revivals have grown and have been successful in winning hundreds of souls throughout the length and breadth of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

Under the Fresh Fire Outreach Ministries umbrella, Felicia also works along with the Daughters of Purpose Network. The objective of this network is to equip and empower young girls and women to discover their God-given purpose and provide opportunities for their gifts to be used to build sisterhood connections, as well as to teach them the principals of becoming a well-rounded kingdom citizen.

At age 18, Felicia released her first book entitled “She Found Herself – Part I” and yesterday, on her birthday, she released the re-branded and expanded version of “She Found Herself”, including part two.

“This book speaks about my life and death experience and in this book I am very transparent. I talk about my past struggle as a Christian and minister in the church, because I recognise that this generation is seeking for ‘real Christians’ and too many times we pretend as if we have it all together, so in my book I take of the mask and speak about my struggle to forgive,” she said.

In addition to her books, Felicia is also launching her clothing line. She said her “Jesus Girl Rock” collection was created to show young ladies that they can still dress with taste and not expose their bodies.

“I give God all glory for all He continues to do in my life at just the age of 21, and I know with all of my heart that this is just the beginning,” said Felicia.
