A MAN was in custody yesterday after he allegedly robbed someone at gunpoint, taking their wallet containing $300.
Magistrate Algernon Allen, Jr, charged Dante Williams, 30, with armed robbery.
Williams, armed with a black handgun, allegedly robbed Keyo Knowles of a black wallet containing $300 cash along with his NIB card on December 2.
The accused was informed that his matter would be moved to the Supreme Court through a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI). The defendant will be sent to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until the higher court grants him bail.
Williams’ VBI is set for service on March 1, 2024.
